Duluth Roofing Company (DRC) was recommended to us by a local (Duluth, MN) builder who said that the company is great and has experience with slate roofs. We have a slate roof with a very steep pitch, so we really wanted to hire a company that was up to the challenge. After soliciting bids from DRC and a few of their competitors, we decided to hire DRC, because they presented themselves as very professional, knowledgeable, and gave a price-competitive quote. Our choice was rewarded with a job very well done. In reality, the job done was more than what I had originally solicited them to fix. They were able to point out additional tweaks that were required on our house and carriage house, fix those the same day, and all at a very fair price. Working on our roof requires the use of a bucket lift, because of the steep pitch. Extensive landscaping complicates using a lift, because bushes, rock mulch, and decorative fencing serve to impede direct access. Despite all the challenges, our repairs were completed within one day, on a day that was constantly misting (typical fall weather in Duluth). Thank-you DRC for your great work. You are now our go-to company for all our roofing maintenance. 2 last items: As you can see from the time stamps on some of the photos, I should have written this review 2 months ago. My apologies for allowing my busy schedule to delay my praise. Lastly, the work was performed by the owner of the company. Yes, he does have several employees, but he is still actively engaged on site to ensure a job well done. Kudos!

I have had experiences with about three other roofing companies in the past, but this was my first experience with Duluth Roofing. They came onsite within 24 hours of our request, inspected our leak concern, and provided us with three different repair options. They followed up with detailed quotes via PDF documents sent by email. We chose to remove the non-functional chimney and have them patch the hole, match the existing shingles, add valley metal, and caulk other areas of concern. Despite encountering some unexpected issues on my roof, they completed the work within six hours. They cleaned up the site so well that I virtually didn't know they were even there. Duluth Roofing offers a payment plan option through their website and accepts credit cards. If I have roofing needs in the future, I will definitely be calling them again. They are very professional and competitively priced.

I required an urgent roof repair followed by a roof replacement on my family cabin. The project went incredibly well from start to finish. My contacts with the people in the organization were professional, timely and cheerful. The roof repair happened quickly and successfully. The roof replacement was done on time and on budget. Duluth Roofing replaced box vents for us and, on a different occasion, repaired a section of asphalt shingles that were damaged from a tree. Their communication makes dealing with this kind of thing a little less stressful--I appreciate the combination of calls and emails. On both occasions they were reliable and professional. Their work looks excellent, we've had no issues with any of the repairs they've done, and they explain the problem and their solution very well. I'm also impressed with how well they clean up the job site. I think they treat their customers how they would want to be treated. On both occasions, we were grateful they were able to work us in in a relatively short time, considering how busy they are. The fact that they're busy is a testament to the quality of work they do.

Very satisfied with the final product. They were able to get our project done much sooner than expected (five days after scheduling), which helped us out a lot since we had a leak coming from the roof. In addition, they installed a vent system that goes across the top seam that not only looks WAY better than what was originally was there, but also is said to provide better ventilation. Great work overall and we appreciated the professionalism/expertise. Would highly recommend!

Very happy with Duluth Roofing. Good communication and price was competitive. Crew was professional and did a great job. Called a few companies that I will simply say are bigger because we all see ads from them all over. One never got back to me, one promised to get back to me with a price within a day and I never heard back from them, and the third one I wouldn't have trusted to take out my trash let alone replace a roof. Duluth Roofing is clearly far more professional.

We have a flat roof on an addition to our house and it was a little tricky finding a company who would take on the job, but they did and it turned out great.

Duluth Roofing Company recently replaced my entire roof and the process, from start to finish, was great! Communication and response time were very important to me when considering a company to work with. Aaron w/Duluth Roofing, was great in both areas, providing same day response time with answers to my questions and information that helped during each step of the way. I originally called Duluth Roofing in the spring after having an issue with water getting into the house. A couple days after the call, they were on-site inspecting the roof. I filed an insurance claim at the same time and let Duluth Roofing know I was waiting on the claim to be resolved before starting any work. I also let Aaron know I was concerned with more water getting in through the roof while waiting on the insurance claim and he recommended having a crew come out and tarp the roof to help prevent more damage. I agreed to the temporary fix and there was a crew on-site first thing the next morning tarping the roof! Well, it took almost 2 months for the insurance claim to be resolved and I was worried that Duluth Roofing's schedule would be pretty booked. After reaching out and expressing my concern with timing they were able to get a crew on-site in less than 2 weeks! Better yet, they were able to replace the entire roof in one day! Great work all around! If you're looking for a roofing company, I highly recommend Duluth Roofing.
